So I am based in Dubai and I have been working in content, social media, and marketing for about five years now. I graduated with my bachelors in computer science and started out in technical writing, which I think gave me a really solid foundation, it trained me to write clearly on complex topics like technology and products and think about the reader first, which honestly informs everything I do now. Over time I moved into brand communications and marketing for startups, mostly in the AI and Web3 space. My biggest role was at Quranium, a post-quantum blockchain startup, where I owned pretty much everything, social media, community management across Discord and Telegram, thought leadership content, press outreach. That was a really full-on role and I loved it. We grew LinkedIn impressions by 293% and got coverage in Wired and CoinDesk, which was a big deal for a startup in that space. After Quranium I moved into a couple of AI-focused startups — TOTM Labs and then Thrumble, a voice AI company — managing social media and content strategy for both. Those were shorter engagements and I have been using the time since to actively look for the right opportunity. I also write screenplays, publish poetry, and do narrative design work on the side — so storytelling is genuinely just how I think, not just what I do for work. I really thrive in environments where things move fast and I have real ownership over the work.
